Welcome to the Primate Girls Go Green Foundation, a transformative community initiative rooted in the belief that when you empower a girl, you empower a nation.
We are a Uganda-based, girl-focused foundation that merges two powerful forces: sports and environmental sustainability. At our core, we are nurturing young girls into becoming not just future athletes and environmentalists but leaders, caregivers, and change-makers for generations to come.
Through active participation in team sports, fruit tree planting, and now through purpose-driven travel, our girls are gaining life-changing skills that strengthen their bodies, shape their minds, and uplift entire communities. This is more than a program, it’s a movement of young African girls leading the charge toward a healthier, greener, and more resilient future.
We believe that real, lasting change begins with girls. Girls are the heartbeat of every home and every community. By empowering them with skills, knowledge, and confidence, we set the foundation for entire communities to thrive.
We host voulenteers who are passionate about sports development, community engagement, and environmental conservation.
Our Current Programs Include:
Football Coaching
Volleyball Training
Running and Fitness Programs
Fruit Tree Planting Programme:
In addition voulenteers can participate in our Fruit Tree Planting Program. Where you plant and map your own tree with local families. By doing this you create a long-term impact in both nutrition and environmental restoration.
Our Girls Academy is located near the Bwindi Impenetrable, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.
We are just an hour away from Southern Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can go on safari and watch tree climbing lions and abundant wildlife. Additionally Uganda has ten national parks offering voulenteers unique opportunities, for combining meaningful work with breathtaking nature experiences.
For international travel, Kigali International Airport is closer to us than Entebbe, which provides a more convinient and often more cost-effective arrival solution.
